About me, Giulia
As a native Italian teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience, I have worked with learners of all ages and abilities. I offer personalised lessons tailored to your goals, whether you want to improve your conversational Italian, strengthen your grammar, prepare for GCSE or A-level Italian exams, or develop your reading and writing skills.
Heritage learners often have some familiarity with Italian through family life, even if they have never studied it formally. My lessons build on what you already know, helping you gain confidence and fluency while deepening your understanding of Italian language and culture.
Whether your goal is to reconnect with your roots, communicate confidently with family members, achieve excellent exam results, or simply enjoy speaking Italian, I will support you every step of the way with engaging, practical, and personalised lessons.

Giulia did an amazing job with my son to prepare him for his GCSE Italian and more broadly to greatly improve his Italian which despite my efforts from birth, was not progressing sufficiently due to the family speaking English at home and generally the lack of practice in written language. On top of this, my son is neurodivergent, and has minor learning difficulties as well as complex health issues, which made other GCSEs more broadly very challenging for him. Despite this and thanks to Giulia’s patient and effective teaching style, he achieved an amazing 9 in Italian which helped to boost his confidence and made him want to study to improve the language even further. I can therefore wholeheartedly recommend Giulia as a teacher for any kind of learning style.
