Terms and conditions
My aim is to create a relaxed, enjoyable, and supportive learning experience. To help everything run smoothly, please take a moment to read the following terms and conditions.
Free introductory lesson
- The first lesson is free of charge.
- This session is used to assess your level, understand your goals, and plan your learning journey.
- It also gives you the opportunity to see if you feel comfortable learning with me before committing to a package.
Lesson package
- Lessons are sold in 10-hour packages.
- Your 10-hour package is valid for 4 months from the date of purchase.
- Any unused lesson time after the 4-month period will expire. If you think you may have difficulty using your hours within this timeframe, please let me know and I’ll do my best to help you schedule your lessons.
Booking lessons
- Lessons are booked by mutual agreement and are subject to availability.
- Booking regular weekly or fortnightly sessions is recommended to help you make steady progress and secure your preferred time slot.
Cancellations and rescheduling
- If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance.
- Lessons cancelled with 24 hours’ notice or more can be rescheduled at no extra charge.
- Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, will be deducted from your lesson package and cannot be rescheduled.
Late arrivals
- If you arrive late for your lesson, the lesson will still finish at the scheduled time so that other bookings are not affected.
- The full lesson time will be deducted from your package.
- If I am ever delayed, I will make up the missed time or arrange an alternative solution.
Tutor cancellations
- If I need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, I will give you as much notice as possible and we will arrange another suitable time.
Payment
- Full payment is required before the first paid lesson of your 10-hour package unless we have agreed otherwise.
- Lesson packages are non-refundable and non-transferable once lessons have started.
